  • Workshop on J2EE Technologies

 

The Department of Computer Science and Engineering, and the Department of Computer Applications have organized a two day faculty enablement workshop in J2EE Technologies on July 29 & 30, 2010. The workshop was organized in collaboration with the Campus Connect team of Infosys Technologies Ltd. The objective of this workshop was to provide an insight into J2EE Technologies and thereby enabling the faculty to guide their students in doing projects using these technologies. This two day workshop focused on the JSP technology along with implementing a project. Mr. Hari S (Senior Member E&R), Mrs. Manju K (Lead E&R), Mrs. Lavanya Anand (Member E&R) and Mr. Pramod Balachandran (Sr. Project Mgr) of Infosys Technologies Ltd conducted sessions on J2EE Technologies. 21 faculty members from other engineering colleges in the state participated in this training program. The workshop was highly beneficial for the internal as well as external participants in gaining knowledge in J2EE Technologies.

  • Aspirations 2020 State Runners-up in All Kerala Programming Contest

    Nishant Sankaran, Viswanathan.K, Don Mathew of S8 CSE batch won 2nd prize in All Kerala Programming Contest conducted by Campus Connect program of Infosys Technologies Ltd. The State Final round was held at Infosys Technologies Ltd., Trivandrum Development Center (DC) SEZ Campus on Friday, 26th February, 2010.




     

    • Infosys Campus Connect Road Show was conducted at the college campus on Wednesday, July 29, 2009.

      The session was conducted at the Main Hall by Mr. Hari S from Infosys Limited, between 09:30 am and 11:30 am. After this session Mr. Hari addressed the Campus Connect faculties. He informed the team about the changes to the Foundation Program. The new incentive structure was explained. Informed us of the college being elevated to the next level in the Campus Connect program i.e. to the Advanced level from the Primary level. Thus, the college is entitled to a lot of benefits. Infosys recognizes the contribution of the college and has presented the college with a laptop. Mr. Hari partook in a working lunch with the college management and authorities. He has shared some of the data points looking at the figures collated from the twenty four odd participating colleges from Kerala. The seminar on J2EE was held on Wednesday, July 29, 2009. Mr. Hari S from Infosys gave an overview of the server technologies and J2EE in specific to the college faculties.
