At Vidya Academy of Science and Technology a lot of emphasis is given to training and placement requirement of the student community. Specific training programs are schemed to enhance the capabilities of the students to meet the expectations of the industry. During the send and third year of engineering an hour every week is dedicated for co-curricular activities. This is aimed at the overall development of the students. During these hours the students is provided orientation in various activities for self-development including language skills, aptitude skills, personality and soft skill development.  Besides these specialists and industry experts provide motivational talk to enhance the exposure to the students.  Placement activities are re-aligned to meet the current challenges and the emerging market scenarios. Active industry representations are being solicited and in this connection, various forums are being considered to extend the reach and interactions with the student community.
