Association of Vidya Alumni (AVA)

The Association of Vidya Alumni (AVA) was established in 2007, coinciding with the graduation of the first batch of students from Vidya Academy of Science and Technology. Since its inception, AVA has grown into a strong and vibrant global alumni network, with approximately 15,000 alumni members spread across different parts of the world.
AVA currently has active alumni chapters in UAE, Canada, Qatar, and Germany, strengthening the connection among alumni and facilitating greater engagement with the institution.
One of the major contributions of AVA is its commitment to supporting deserving students through various scholarship initiatives, including the ROOTS and AVEA scholarships. These scholarships provide financial assistance to academically meritorious students facing financial difficulties. In addition, AVA has contributed ?7,50,000 to the Vidya Foundation towards supporting the Vidya scholarship schemes.
AVA also plays an active role in fostering meaningful connections between alumni and students through alumni interaction programmes, career guidance sessions, mentorship programmes, and placement support initiatives. These activities provide students with valuable opportunities to interact with experienced professionals, gain industry insights, explore career opportunities, and develop the skills required for their future careers.
Every year, each department conducts a minimum of four alumni-related programmes, ensuring continuous and meaningful engagement between students and alumni. Through these initiatives, AVA continues to strengthen the bond between the institution and its alumni while contributing to the academic, professional, and personal development of students.
