Vidya ISTE Faculty Chapter sets the way to excellence

Vidya serves as a catalyst in assisting and contributing  in the creation and growth of top quality professional engineers and technicians needed by the industries and other organisations. Being the only national organisation of  educators in the field of Engineering and Technology, ISTE  (Indian Society for Technical Education)  effectively contributes in various missions.

Vidya ISTE Faculty chapter has been acknowledged as the “Faculty Chapter with Maximum Number of Activities” on the strength of impeccable  activities conducted  during the year 2023-24.Vidya ISTE Chapter stands among the crowd with more than 10 prestigious awards as Best Faculty Chapter of ISTE Kerala for the past few years.

(HoD,CE Dept) and Mr Kiran Babu A R Asst Prof, CE Dept) received the award on 18 January 2025 at the venue of 35th Annual State Convention of ISTE Kerala Section & National Seminar on “Transformative Innovations Shaping the AI-Driven Epoch”. Dr Usha Titus IAS (Chairperson and Managing Director, ASAP Kerala) presented the award in an auspicious  function held at  Marian Engineering Colleg,  Kuttikkanam in the presence of Dr.Vijayakumar K. (Chairman, ISTE Kerala Section),  Dr.Shalji P.R. (Director , Technical Education & Member of the National Executive Council, ISTE), Dr Ashalatha Thampuran (Former Principal of CET & Executive Director of Mohandas College of Engineering & Technology) and  Prof. E.C. Ramakrishnan (Secretary, ISTE Kerala Section).

Vidya ISTE chapter led by Ms Ponsy Paul (Faculty Advisor, Vidya ISTE Chapter and Asst Prof, CE Dept) and Mr Anil M  (Student Chapter Advisor, Asst Prof,  ECE Dept) under the guidance of Dr Sunitha C (Chairman, Vidya ISTE Chapter and Principal) played a pivotal role into this prestigious achievement that turned all opportunities into captivating exploration with sharp attitude  and  resilient spirit to turn setback into chances
