Vidya hosts E-Zone Table Tennis Championships 2025-2026

Vidya Academy of Science & Technology proudly hosted the APJAKTU E-Zone Table Tennis Championship 2025-2026 on 4 October 2025.

The championship commenced with a formal inauguration attended by dignitaries. The welcome address was delivered by Mr. Ramesh K.V (Asso Prof, Phy. Edn Dept) followed by the inaugural address by Dr. Sunitha C (Principal, VAST). Felicitations were offered by Dr. Rajesh C.B, Dr. Shejin, and Thomas M T and the programme concluded with the vote of thanks by Ms Gopika Krishna (Asst Prof, Phy. Edn Dept)marking the formal closure of the function.

The tournament witnessed enthusiastic participation from various colleges under the E-Zone.

In the Men's category, NSS College of Engineering, Palakkad, emerged as the Champions, followed by Sahrdaya College of Engineering and Technology, Kodakara, who secured the Runners-up position. Jawaharlal College of Engineering and Technology, Lakkidi, and Government Engineering College, Thrissur, secured the Third and Fourth positions, respectively.

In the Women's category, Vidya Academy of Science & Technology, Thrissur, claimed the First position, while NSS College of Engineering, Palakkad, finished Second. Government Engineering College, Thrissur, and Government Engineering College, Palakkad, secured the Third and Fourth positions, respectively.

The championship concluded successfully, showcasing the remarkable performances and sportsmanship of all participating teams.
