Honoring function of winner in Red Hat Aptitude Test

The All India Level IT Aptitude Test conducted by Red Hat-IBM is one of the most prestigious competitions in the field of information technology.

A program was organized on 01 November 2023,to honor Nandakishor T, from CSE Department who secured the 8th rank in this highly competitive examination during his 8th semester. The event was attended by Dr Saji CB (Principal), Dr Ramani Bai (HoD, CSE Dept),three representatives from Vidya Training and Development Center, M.Maragathavalli (Manager-Vidya Training and Development Center), Sreekala Ramachandran (Manager – Marketing and Extensions), Jayakrishnan V (Senior Red Hat Trainer), distinguished faculty members, and an enthusiastic audience from the S7 CSE batch.

The program commenced with a warm and inspiring welcome address by Dr Ramani Bai, who highlighted the significance of the accomplishment and encouraged students to aspire to excellence in their academic pursuits. Dr Saji CB, delivered the presidential address, where he praised the student’s achievement and emphasized the importance of nurturing talent and fostering a culture of academic excellence.

The award recipient was felicitated by Senior Red Hat Trainer, Mr. Jayakrishnan.V, who extended his heartfelt congratulations and appreciation for the outstanding achievement in the All India IT Aptitude Test. During the program, Ms. Sreekala Ramachandran took the opportunity to introduce an exciting new workshop initiative that is set to commence. She encouraged students to participate and make the most of this upcoming learning opportunity, emphasizing the benefits it would bring to their academic and personal growth.

The highlight of the program was when the award recipient, Nandakishore T, shared his experience of preparing for and participating in the All India IT Aptitude Test. His speech served as a source of inspiration to the audience, describing the challenges he faced, the hard work he put in, and the support he received from the faculty, family, and friends. The program concluded with the distribution of award to the student, presented by the Red Hat-IBM members. The event ended with a vote of thanks by Ms Thulasi Rajan (Asst Prof, CSE Dept), expressing gratitude to the Principal, HOD, Vidya Training and Development Center representatives, and the student for their valuable contributions to the event. Special mention was made of the audience, whose presence added to the significance of the ceremony.

The prize distribution program not only celebrated the student’s remarkable achievement but also served as a source of inspiration for all the students present. It reinforced the importance of dedication, hard work, and perseverance in the pursuit of excellence.
