BOSCH-VIDYA Joint Certification Program

The BOSCH – Vidya Joint Certification Program was inaugurated and the lab was established at Vidya Academy of Science & Technology on October 21, 2016.

The BOSCH lab was inaugurated by the chief guest, Mr Abhijit Kallianpur along with Mr. Ajith Kumar, RTO (Enforcement), Kunnamkulam, J Sunder, Bosch technical head, Er.G Mohanachandran, Executive Director, VICT and Dr. SudhaBalagopalan, Principal, VAST

The session started with a silent prayer. BOSCH JCP convener Mr Hareesh K, AP ME, Welcomed all dignitaries on and off the dies and handed over to Dr. Sudha Balagopalan for presidential address.

The session was then followed with the lighting of the lamp by dignified persons

MrAjith Kumar, RTO (Enforcement), Kunnamkulam, threw some light on the importance of education and explained the need and relevance of practical exposure. He shared his experience as a teacher when he was at Wayanad.

Vidya academy of Science & Technology and Bosch limited signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) related to joint certification programme including research.

Mr Abhijit Kallianpur,Head,Business Solutions,BOSCH Ltd, in his key note address, emphasized on the importance of skill development training to the students to increase the job opportunities. He expressed the hope that special training module developed by BOSCH on Vehicle Diagnosis for the technical students to understand the complexity of modern vehicles and its systems. These training modules will help the student to get the hands on experience on the vehicle system diagnosis and trouble shooting.

J Sunder, BOSCH technical head, expressed his views on outcome based education and appreciated the efforts taken by Vidya academy of Science and Technology, to prepare their students for industry oriented learning.

Er. G Mohanachandran, Executive Director, VICT, Mr. Suresh Lal, Finance Director, VICT, Prof K V SoolapaniVarier, Prof K B M Nambhudhiripad, Mr Dileep K, HOD ME Dept, all expressed their hope on the new venture and congratulated everyone who worked behind the setting up of BOSCH laboratory.

In the end, Mr.Midhun P, Co-Convener, BOSCH JCP presented a vote of thanks to all the invited guests for gracing the occasion by their solemn presence.

Official Inauguration came to an end by 1.30PM.
