The Department of Computer Science and Engineering takes immense pride in announcing that Dr. Jensy Babu (Asst Prof, CSE Dept) a research scholar at Noorul Islam Centre for Higher Education, Kumaracoil, has successfully defended her thesis  titled “Lightweight Signature-Based Capability Using Named Data Networking’ on 06 June 2025 under the guidance and supervision of Dr. M. Victor Jose (Professor, Vel Tech Multi Tech Engineering College, Chennai).

The research work focuses on the development of a lightweight signature-based capability mechanism within the Named Data Networking (NDN) framework. The study contributes to the advancement of three key methodologies for implementing security in data networking, specifically targeting authentication, access control, and secure data dissemination. These methodologies are designed to enhance the efficiency and robustness of data-centric security while maintaining low computational and communication overhead.
