SERB grants project worth 30 lakhs to Vidya

Science and Engineering Research Board (SERB), Department of Science & Technology, Govt. of India, has sanctioned a research project titled “Determination of energy and momentum accommodation coefficients for a pressure driven flow in a rarefied medium using molecular dynamics” to Dr. Sooraj K. Prabha, Associate Professor in Mechanical Engineering, in the College. The total cost of the project as sanctioned by SERB is Rs. 2960040/-. An amount of Rs. 1384950/-  has been granted under Capital (Non-recurring) head and an amount of Rs.1575090/- under  General (Recurring) head. The Project is to be completed within a total duration of 36 months.
