The venue was  filled  withh an air of excitement and merriment of scholarly accomplishments at their Graduation Ceremony 2024 took place on 24 August 2024. Each graduate was invited as one by one to walk across the stage when their name was announced and received a piece of rolled up paper representing  their degree certificate.
At the start of the ceremony the respectful prayer,” Daivadasakam,” by  Nandana Kunnath Sajeeve (S7, CE Dept) and Sreelakshmi I M  (S7, CE Dept)  that brought the tone for an auspicious assembly. PK Asokan (Chief Patron, Vidya International Charitable Trust (VICT)) presided over the function and made a  request for the invocation and directed the rituals.Dr Sunitha C (Principal) made an official announcement of course completion and introduced the Chief Guest.
Dr Shalij P R (Director, Directorate of Technical Education,Govt of Kerala) who epitomizes both industry and academia to technical education encouraged the students to be authentic, original thinkers and contributors with his enlivening speech .Education is meant to develop the ability to think critically, innovate and contribute meaningfully to society . Education is not just about acquiring knowledge; As engineers, scientists and technologists, young engineers have the power to make changes, solve complex problems and make a positive impact on the world, he added.
Mr Paul Chakola (Head, Placement and Training) read out the names of the toppers of each department who received the degree and certificates from the Chief Guest.  A memento that served as a reminder of the vibrant presence of Chief Guest handed over to Dr Shalij by the Principal .
Er P K Asokan (Chief Patron, VICT), Mr Suresh Lal (Executive Director, VICT),Er G Mohanachandran (Hon.Advisor,VICT), Adv P N Unnirajan IPS (Retd) (Director-Administration),Dr P Prathapachandran Nair (Former Principal,VAST),Dr M N Agnisarman Namboothiri(former Dean-PG Studies),Dr Jeeva K A (HoD, AIML Dept), Mr Gireesh Kumar P C (Librarian) and Mr Manoj Chalakkal  (PTA President) awarded the certificates to the graduating students.
The heads of the academic department, Dr Abhilasha P S (CE Dept), Dr Swapna Kumar (ECE Dept), Dr Mary P Varghese (EEE Dept), Dr Rakesh Hari (ME Dept), Dr Reji C Joy (MCA Dept), and Dr Jiby Jose (Applied Science & Humanities) introduced the deserving  students.Before the beginning of the function, Ms Divya Radhakrishnan (Associate – Finance and Administration) gave a brief description to the students, parents and guests about the whole function to conduct a full dress rehearsal and the etiquettes to be followed for the smooth conduct of the function.
This momentous event was coordinated by  Nirmala Krishnan ( Asst Prof, CE Dept), Ms Neenu Thomas  (Convener, Asst Prof, EEE Dept) under the guidance of Dr Abhilasha P S (HoD, CE Dept) and Dr Mary P Varghese (HoD, EEE Dept) as Conveners and  wholehearted support from staff members of CE and EEE Dept and student volunteers. Ms Akhila R (Asst Prof, EEE Dept) proficiently anchored the program,guiding the participants through the procedures.
With more than 2000 participants, the  event witnessed the sacredness of education , the importance of student achievements and  graduates’ bonds to this institution.
