The campus was transformed into a vibrant kaleidoscope of colors and rhythms, pulsating with the energy of hundreds of enthusiastic participants.The two-day extravaganza served as a welcome break from academic rigor, filling the corridors of the Academy with music, laughter, and artistic flair.Every corner of the campus resonated with creativity from 30-31 January, as ADVIKA 2026 transformed Vidya   into a blend of traditional heritage and modern art, proving that education and creativity go hand in hand."

The annual arts festival 'Advika-2026' at Vidya Academy of Science and Technology officially commenced on 30 January 2026.  'Advika-2026' was officially inaugurated by the chief guest Mr Aneesh T. A, (first runner-up of Bigg Boss Malayalam Season 7 and winner of Popular Malayali of the Year 2025). on 30th January 2026. The opening ceremony was graced  Dr. Sunitha C (Principal) delivered a warm welcome address, highlighting the significance of the festival in nurturing student creativity and cultural expression. Mr  Aneesh expressed his admiration for the students, stating that he was immensely proud of how beautifully they showcased their talent and creativity.  Mr. Kiran Babu A. R. (Senate Convener, Asst. Prof., CE Dept.) extended a formal vote of thanks to the guests and participants. The inauguration was also attended by MsSalkala K. S. (Senate Convener, Asst. Prof., MCA) and Alfred (Student Representative, Advika-2026) . 

The festival, held on 30th and 31st January, promises a rich experience filled with creativity, cultural diversity, and artistic excellence. On the first day, over thirty competitions took place across multiple stages, capturing the audience's attention with vibrant costumes and energetic performances. Competitions included kolkali, urban muttu, mimicry, and mono acts, alongside traditional dances such as Thiruvathira, Oppana, Margamkali, and folk dances, representing diverse cultural backgrounds.

The audience was captivated by performances addressing contemporary social themes, including mime, plays in multiple languages, and skits. Traditional art forms like classical music, chenda melam, panchavadyam, poorkkali, and Mappila songs added to the excitement. Folk performers in colorful costumes, along with props such as mulamkuzhal and olakkuda, created a spectacular visual experience. The grace of female dancers and the powerful movements of male performers, combined with lively rhythms, transformed the stage into a festival of joy and creativity.

The competitions featured a wide range of cultural, literary, and artistic events, representing diverse backgrounds. Students showcased their talents through performances in English (Western), Hindi, Urdu, Arabic, Malayalam, including poetry recitations in English

The festival was led and guided by Dr. Sunitha C (Principal) , along with  Ms. Salkala K. S. (Senate Convener, Asst. Prof., MCA) and Mr Kiran Babu, (Senate Convener, Asst. Prof., CE) ensuring smooth coordination and vibrant participation throughout the events.
