The Center for Continuing Education (CCE), in collaboration with the Department of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, Vidya Academy of Science and Technology (VAST), successfully conducted a five-day Industry-Ready Programme on "Applied Machine Learning, Large Language Models and Agentic AI" from 16 July 2026 to 25 July 2026. The programme aimed to bridge the gap between academic learning and industry requirements by providing participants with practical knowledge and hands-on experience in emerging Artificial Intelligence technologies.

The programme covered a comprehensive range of topics, including Machine Learning Fundamentals, Hands-on Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Natural Language Processing (NLP), Large Language Models (LLMs), Prompt Engineering, Fine-Tuning Techniques, Agentic AI Applications, and Advanced Agentic AI. Interactive sessions, practical demonstrations, and real-world examples enabled participants to gain a deeper understanding of modern AI concepts and their applications.

Around 60 students actively participated in the programme. The sessions were led by Dr. Anil Raj, whose expertise, engaging teaching methodology, and practical approach received excellent feedback from the participants. Students appreciated the relevance of the course content, the clarity of the explanations, and the opportunity to work with cutting-edge AI technologies through hands-on learning.

The programme concluded successfully, equipping participants with industry-oriented knowledge and practical skills in Artificial Intelligence. By enhancing their technical competencies and exposing them to the latest advancements in AI, the programme significantly strengthened their career readiness and prepared them for emerging opportunities in the rapidly evolving AI industry.
