Onam carries an ambience of presenting and receiving gifts. The students of ME Dept have been keeping some noble practices to uplift the spirit of Onam by presenting 'Onakkodi' (new clothes for Onam) to the deserving people. This year as well the students arranged a ceremony to present ‘Onakkodi’ to the members of maintenance staff of the College on 26 August 2023.'Onakkodi' was presented by Dr Rakesh Hari (HoD In-charge, ME Dept) and the faculty members of ME Dept. ME students have been taking up this practice for the past few years as a gratitude of the services made by the maintenance staff of the college who toil day and night to remain the campus clean and wellbeing.
