Overview

Dr. Sajay K R is a seasoned academician and researcher with over 24 years of teaching and administrative experience in the field of computer science. He began his teaching career in the year 2000 as a Lecturer in Computer Science at Kerala Agricultural University. In 2001, he joined the University of Calicut as a Lecturer in Computer Science, where he continued to contribute to teaching and academic development.In November 2010, Dr. Sajay transitioned to Vidya Academy of Science and Technology,where he initially served as a Lecturer in the Department of MCA. Over the years, through dedication and academic contributions, he rose through the ranks, serving as Assistant Professor and later as Associate Professor, his current designation.He earned his Ph.D. in Computer Science from Bharathiar University, Coimbatore, in March 2024, with a thesis titled "Fortified Classification of Health Care Data Using Machine Learning Techniques with a Robust Secured Environment." His educational background also includes:

M.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering from SRM Institute of Science and Technology
M.Phil in Computer Science from Bharathiar University
MCA from University of Madras

In addition to his academic roles, Dr. Sajay has served as an Academic Counselor and Program In-Charge at IGNOU's Thrissur center for several years, contributing to distance education and learner support services.Dr. Sajay's research interests lie in cloud computing, machine learning, and cybersecurity. He has published several papers in reputed journals including IEEE,Springer, and Scopus-indexed publications.He is a life member and active participant in various professional bodies such as:
