IEDC Team wins Local Galactic Award

Vidya students always spark a culture that ensures and insists to find innovative attempts faced on the living planet with the wholehearted support of IEDC (Innovation and Entrepreneurship Development Center).

It gives us huge delight to share the news that, the IEDC team ‘SASAGEYO’received Local Galactic Award for Design Excellence in the NASA Space App Challenge. The team members received the award in the IEDC Summit event held at College of Engineering (CET) Trivandrum on 12 October 2023.Mr Anil M (IEDC Nodal Officer and Asst Prof, ECE Dept) provided motivation to the team.

The NASA International Space Apps Challenge (Space Apps) is an international hackathon for coders, scientists, designers, storytellers, makers, builders, technologists, and innovators. During the hackathon, teams from cities around the world engage the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) and its Space Agency Partners’ free and open data to address real-world problems on Earth and in space.
