GitHub is a developer platform that allows developers to create, store, manage and share their code. It uses Git software,providing the distributed version control of Git plus access control, bug tracking, software feature requests, task management, and continuous integration for every project.

Vidya student, Gokul Sona (S3, MCA) gave a live hands-on session on “GitHub” to S3 MCA students  on 09 August  2024. The session was organized by Vidya Computer Application Association (ViCA) (ViCA).ViCA has always been keenly interested in organizing such talks and programmes for the benefit of the students. Ms Siji K B(Asst Prof, MCA,staff coordinator, ViCA) welcomed Mr Gokul to the gathering. The session was a very informative where Mr. Gokul explained onthe benefits of GitHub.  The students wholeheartedly attended the session and thanked Gokul for the ideas shared with them. Dr Reji C Joy(HOD, MCA) attended the session.
